For all time
Join 200+ people who have pledged a legacy gift to MIU
Like most other universities and colleges, MIU depends on legacy gifts—bequests from friends and alumni— to build our endowment and assure our continuing success.
Legacy gifts are a major source of educational funding and an important step toward our long-term financial security—thus ensuring our ability to offer Consciousness-Based education generation after generation.
These gifts can be made through a bequest in your will, a charitable trust, or as gifts of life insurance, annuities, or retirement plans.
By making your planned gift, you will not only help the University, but you can also bring many benefits to your family, your loved ones, and heirs.
Legacy Giving Design
There are many types of legacy gift opportunities, some of them with tax and even income benefits that can start taking effect right away. Individual financial situations are best supported with customized gift designs.
The Legacy Society
The MIU Legacy Society was established in 1994 to recognize and honor individuals during their lifetime who have included the University in their estate plans.
Such gifts have helped to ensure a foundational stability over the years that keeps MIU strong.
The MIU Professional Advisory Committee (PAC) is composed of trust officers, attorneys, accountants, financial planners, life insurance professionals, and others who specialize in estate planning. They are volunteer resources for potential donors and their advisors.
